Terms of Use
These terms are the agreement between you and the person who makes SetsPal. They cover what you may do with the app, how the subscription works, and the limits of what a workout log can promise you.

1. The agreement
SetsPal ("the app") is provided by Abdulladif Roble, a sole trader in Denmark ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, delete the app.
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and where it and these terms conflict on a point Apple's agreement covers, Apple's terms win.
2. Who may use SetsPal
You need to be at least 13 to use the app, and at least 18 — or have a parent or guardian's permission — to buy a subscription. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep control of the Apple or Google account you sign in with.
You can log workouts without signing in. If you do, your log lives on that device and against an anonymous session: lose the device or delete the app before signing in, and there is no way for us to identify the data as yours or recover it. Signing in is what makes your log portable.
3. Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use SetsPal on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's Usage Rules. The licence is for your own use of the app, not ownership of it.
You agree not to:
- copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source of the app, except where the law expressly allows it;
- rent, resell, sublicense, or make the app available as a service to anyone else;
- use the app or its backend in a way designed to overload it, bypass rate limits, or scrape data in bulk;
- use SetsPal for anything unlawful, or enter content that is unlawful or abusive.
4. Your training data belongs to you
Everything you record — workouts, sets, routines, measurements — is yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the app: to store your data, sync it to your devices, and process it to produce the history, charts and suggestions the app shows you. That permission ends when you delete your account.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train AI models. The Privacy Policy sets out precisely what leaves your device and where it goes.
5. Subscription, trial and billing
- SetsPal offers a free trial lasting 72 hours from your first launch. It gives you the paid features; it does not renew, and it starts once per user.
- After the trial, the paid features require a SetsPal Pro subscription. Prices and periods are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency.
- The subscription renews automatically. Your Apple Account is charged for the next period within 24 hours before the current one ends.
- To stop it, turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends, in Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your iPhone. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- If the price changes, Apple notifies you and asks for your agreement before the change takes effect. If you do not agree, the subscription simply ends at the next renewal.
Apple is the seller for every purchase made in the app. We never see or store your card details, and we cannot issue refunds ourselves — refund requests go to Apple, through Report a Problem at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you are a consumer in the EU, your statutory rights, including any right to withdraw from a purchase, apply as Apple's terms and applicable law provide.
6. This is not medical or professional advice
Read this part properly, because it is the one that can actually hurt you. SetsPal is a logging tool with a suggestion engine on top. It is not a doctor, a physiotherapist, or a coach, and nothing it shows is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
- Weight and rep targets are calculated from your own logged history and from an AI model. They are estimates, they can be wrong, and they know nothing about your injuries, sleep, illness, medication or technique on the day.
- Never lift a suggested weight you do not judge yourself ready to lift. Your judgement, and that of a qualified professional, always overrides the app.
- Talk to a doctor before starting or changing a training programme, particularly if you have a medical condition, an injury, or are pregnant.
- Stop training and seek medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath.
Strength training carries a real risk of injury. By using SetsPal you accept that you train at your own risk, and that we are not responsible for injury, illness or loss resulting from training you chose to do while using the app.
7. What the app does not promise
The app is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its suggestions, calculations or exercise data will be correct. Features can change or be withdrawn as the app develops.
Keep your own record of anything you cannot afford to lose. We take reasonable care of your data, but we do not guarantee against loss, and the app has no obligation to act as your only archive.
8. Liability
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your mandatory rights as a consumer under Danish law.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, lost profits, or loss arising from your reliance on a training suggestion. Our total liability to you, for any claim connected to the app, is limited to what you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim arose.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time: cancel the subscription through Apple, delete your account in the app's Settings, and remove the app. Deleting your account erases your data as described in the Privacy Policy and cannot be undone.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms in a way that is serious or repeated, or if we are required to by law. If we discontinue SetsPal entirely, we will give reasonable notice in the app so you can export or record what you need.
10. Apple's position
Apple requires that these points are stated plainly, and they are worth knowing:
- This agreement is between you and us. Apple is not a party to it.
- We alone are responsible for SetsPal and its content. Apple is not.
- Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app. Support comes from us.
- If the app fails to conform to any warranty, you may tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, that is Apple's entire warranty obligation, and any other claim, loss, liability, cost or expense attributable to a failure to conform is ours to answer for.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claim that the app or your use of it infringes someone's intellectual property rights.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claim you or a third party makes about the app — including product liability claims, any claim that it fails to meet a legal requirement, and claims under consumer protection or similar law.
- You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes or the law requires. The date at the top shows the current version, and material changes are announced in the app before they take effect. If you keep using SetsPal afterwards, the updated terms apply.
12. Law and disputes
Danish law governs this agreement, and disputes go to the Danish courts. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.
Consumers in Denmark can also take a complaint to Center for Klageløsning, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg (naevneneshus.dk).
